Station Upgrades Completed for Tubelines Limited 2006 - 2011
Cockfosters Station
Enhanced Station Refurbishment. Contracted to Manage construction work. I was directly responsible for the daily management and Quality Assurance of all civils construction contractors onsite. I was also indirectly responsible for all Quality Assurance of communications equipment installations, configuration and commissioning.
£7million Project.
Southgate Station
Enhanced Station Refurbishment. Responsible for the coordination of contractors onsite. Organising and overseeing all Field Engineering tasks and ensuring the documentation, quality and standards meet required Technical Specifications.
£8million Project.
 
Angel Station
Enhanced Refurbishment. Responsible for all Premises and Civils work onsite.
I was responsible for taking control of all Civils and Premises work scopes and contractors onsite. This also included the planning and costing of works valued at £3million. I was directly involved in the scoping of additional works and procuring specialist contractors whilst successfully negotiating allowance to work during ‘Traffic Hours’ whilst the Station was in use by the public.
£12million project.
 
Acton Town Station
Modernisation.
Managing the construction of new Offices.
I was involved in the planning and construction of a new suit of secure rooms to replace the existing Station Ticket offices. Managing the Migration of communications equipment and furnishings without disruption to Station traffic over planned weekend closures.
£25million Project.
 
Waterloo Station 
Managing refurbishment of 180 offices.
My role was to plan and manage the refurbishment of 180 Station rooms within the remaining 4 months of the project. I was responsible for successfully negotiating with London Underground Managers, a schedule of works involving working during traffic hours without disruption to Staff and the public. I also managed additional unplanned works, involving the demolition and reconstruction of staff offices within the 4 month period.
£15million Project.
 
Finsbury Park Station
Site Mobilisation. Managing Station closures.
I undertook the planning and management of a two stage closure split over a six week programme to carry out essential enabling works to two main entrances to the Station prior to the start of Football Season. Finsbury Park is a major interchange Station with potential fines of £240k per day for failure to open. All works were completed within this time with additional works being completed early.
£12million Project.
 
Wood Green Station
Managing the close out of the project.
My role on this project was to take control of all activities onsite in order to complete all outstanding works and close out remaining snags on a project that ran over its completion date. A two month deadline for all works to be completed before abatement was achieved with additional unplanned works carried out. Managing contracted staff directly in order to complete tasks and overseeing the demobilisation of site offices. Finalising the completion of all Assurance documentation.
£7million Project.
6 Station Fire Mains Upgrade
Managing construction across 6 Stations.
On this project I am directly responsible for advising on construction issues during surveying of new fire main routes throughout six stations, including Archway, Goodge St, Leicester Square, Waterloo Station, Euston Station and Finsbury Park Station. I have the task of managing CIvils contractors and Mechanical Engineers across six Stations, ensuring Field Engineering Managers work to Tubelines Management Processes.
£1million Project.
